Waste Exchange: Super 8
Workshop, Super 8 film, waste materials
Waste Exchange

Waste Exchange was formed to develop events exploring waste materials and collaborative processes. This Super 8 workshop invited participants to decompose a length of Super 8 film developed in food waste by drawing, splicing and denting the film with varied utensils. The fragments were then reassembled into a reel and screened on location. The original film contained footage of a previous cooking show, streamed online, that explored the nature of recipes, waste and domestic reuse.
